Ken for Ken? Do you play Kendama? Kendamas, Japanese toys, are made up of 3 cups and a spike. Most basic Kendama tricks consist of catching the ball in the cups and on the spike. However, as there are more advanced tricks such as the airplane, the principle is the same, catching one object with another, where both are joined by a string.
You can buy Kendamas at the #1 website, Kendama USA. Although you can buy Kendamas on the original website, you can also check online stores like Amazon or eBay. There, you can buy them at a cheaper price with many more varieties.
You can buy various types of Kendamas and different types of strings. There are also Kendamas made out of pro models. Brands of Kendama come from many places, like U.S.A., Japan, China, India, and many more.
Today, Kendama is popular in many parts of the world, particularly Japan. It is also popular in our school, Fallon, as many 6th, 7th, and 8th graders have this toy. Some 8th graders actually stated that they would love to have this school offer it as a sport.
Kendama also has made an impact on this generation. It simply keeps kids off video games and kills time.
A Fallon student, Kyle Yee, enjoys Kendama. “It’s fun and entertaining, also I don’t play video games that much anymore.”
Several people stated that Kendamas are an interesting invention. Care to be adventurous? Try a Kendama!
