Jingle bells, jingle bells! Christmas Fever is here put up your bows, take out your lights, and pour a cup of love! It's December which means that the EXTREMELY contagious Christmas Fever is here! Like any normal fever it must be treated, and the way to do that is to decorate, decorate, DECORATE! Here are a few tips and tricks to make sure that you have the most christmassy Christmas ever!
Have you ever looked at Target, or Lowe’s wreaths and thought that they looked adorable? However, when reaching for the price tag, you’re shocked, because it’s $20 for a wreath you’ll probably only use once.
Well don’t worry! Here's a quick DIY (do it yourself) wreath that all your friends will want! What you’ll need are small ornaments and any color (but preferably red.) They sell some at Target for $3 (or you can by them online.) Next, you’ll need some wire, you can find someone amazing or at your local hardware store for a cheap price, and the final material is some hot glue or super glue which is about $2. First make the shape you want out of the wire this can be anything from a star to a square! Next take out your ornaments and start using the hot glue and place them where you’d like! The final product is an adorable wreath that shines on your door!
Our next decor item is simple and cute. Letters. No, not just any letters. Letters that scream winter… literally. What you’ll need are some letters of choice(they just need to say something christmas like snowman, or winter). You can find these at Michaels for a cheap price. Next you'll need some acrylic paint or some christmas fabric. Then the final product is super glue, if you are doing the fabric otherwise you don't need this. First find the word you want to spell out, then paint the letters a christmas theme color. Let it dry. Next you can leave it like this. But if you want to get extra extra festive you can paint of christmas pattern. For fabric you pick out the word you want to spell out, then for the fabric you can use an old sweater or something super cute is you can buy a cheap ugly sweater at target and use that. Next you start to glue it on with hot glue or super glue. And voila you have an adorable christmas word that just lets up you room.
Now these tips are to just brighten up your room and make it cozy. The first tip is to buy twink lights and hang them up around your room.
While interviewing Talia Southern, she said, ”It brings a warm cozy feeling to the room.”
Another decor item is maybe adding a christmas plush or teddy bear on the empty chair the the corner of your room. Not only does it fill the environment with Christmas spirit it’s also very adorable and sweet. the last decor tip is to change out your bed with a christmas theme by buying a few pillows and adding a throw blanket on your bed.
Veronica Mcgee, and Zeenat Humsafar were being interviewed for 2 questions: What decor tips do you recommend, and did you decorate yet?
Veronica Mcgee answer for the first question is, ”Keep the theme red, silver, and gold for a tumblr vibe.”
Zeenat Humsafar said, ”I decorated with a wreath and christmas tree. I also hung up lights on our balcony rail.”
Well I hope all these tips and tricks help you decorate for Christmas to the extremes! Happy holiday everyone!
